This will be accompanied by a roundtable discussion with members of the Video Art Guerrilla to discuss artist collective practices and placemaking through audiovisual work. This exchange also extends East Streets Arts and our ongoing commitment to improving local neighbourhoods through residency, community co-working and international partnerships.
We will screen seven video artworks by Taiwanese artists and share some of their ideas and processes for developing and showing these pieces.

Miao Ying Lu is a visual artist who explores themes around environmental perception and non-human animals through video, site-specific installation, and writing. Lu Chih Kai is a multimedia artist who uses photography, video, installation, and performance to explore personal memories and subvert the functions of our daily spaces.
