About the organisations

East Street Arts believes that artists will affect positive change and it is our mission to support them; providing affordable space for artists to practise; delivering bespoke artist development and sector research; curating a public programme of engagement; and hosting in the UK’s first Art Hostel, designed entirely by artists.

Artist-in-Residence Taipei (AIR Taipei) connects residency sites and artists worldwide. By providing an exchange platform for artists, AIR Taipei facilitates a transnational cultural network that encourages collaboration across diverse disciplines and communities, and the development of new perspectives. AIR Taipei has hosted over 600 international and domestic artists and supported 200 Taiwanese artists in their residency projects abroad.
