Spot on Asia is a programme of events enabling attendees to learn about contemporary art in Asia, while supporting exchange opportunities between the UK and Asian countries. This autumn, we have invited two curators from Japan and Taiwan to deliver talks in the UK; Naoki Yoneda from The National Art Center, Tokyo (NACT) and Yu-Ling Chou from the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (NTMoFA). They will be meeting with organisations, artists and curators in the UK, and giving talks about their curatorial work.
About the event
There will be two events, one in Nottingham (30 October) and one in Southampton (31 October) – the two curators will talk about the work their organisations do, opportunities to collaborate and funding in their own countries. This will be followed by an opportunity to meet with the curators and a networking opportunity with attendees.
